Simon Inger operates the highly successful "E-Resources Technical Update" training course for the UKSG in conjunction with Tracy Gardner. The ERTU (formerly the E-Journal Technical Update) has been running for 7 years and over 600 industry professionals have attended in that time.

In addition, Simon Inger and Tracy Gardner jointly operate training courses for publishers under the banner of Renew Training. These courses are now in their second iteration and attract delegates from publishers across Western Europe, both commercial and not-for-profit.
